Two weeks.  That’s the window you have to engage people in the Olympics.  Developing an experience that is exciting is only half the battle – you have to be able to pivot with big news, which can come several times a day.  When we built Pinsanity!  For the Sochi winter games, those were our design requirements.  Built as a Facebook app, it turned into a virtual pin trading community, where over 2 million pins were earned, bought or traded in the two weeks of the Olympics, and for months afterward.
